Our Business

When InterCare Group Incorporated was started, our goal was to provide the best, most QUALITY oriented healthcare sevices in New England. The company evolved into a multi-faceted provider also providing consultation and management services to Long Term Facilities, including Rest Homes and Adult day Health Centers. Realizing that most of these facilities lacked Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services involvement, we came up with the idea of opening a Nursing-Rehabilitation based Adult Day Health Program. Thus, the creation of Norton's Premiere Day Health Program.

basis of care.

Who WE ARE

Dr. Rita V Kelleher

Psy.D PT, MAOTR

Owner/Therapist-Clinician

Rita has dual degrees in Physical and Occupational Therapy and a degree in Clinical Psychology. Licensed clinician-therapist in 28 states including Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Rita was instrumental in helping train doctors, nurses and therapists at most of the Boston area hospitals in the use of FIM (Functional Independence Measure).

Rita has decades of experience in Long Term Care, Acute and Subacute Care, Psychiatric and Vocational Rehabilitation, Short Term Rehabilitation, Pediatric and Geriatric  Rehabilitation. 

Some of her publications include: Feeding Programs for Patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia, Fall Prevention and Management, Autism: Temperament in Relation to Parental Discipline, Body Mechanics and Safe Transfers, Measuring Independence, Psychosocial Dysfunction:Where To Go From Here, Balance Activities for Ages Two to Ninety Two.

Rita and her husband, Harold, founded InterCare Group Incorporated and DeiCura Adult Day Health.

Rita and Harold also owns International Healthcare Resources and Hari Tiffani Kiosk on Wheels (HTKOW).

Rita lives in Norton, MA, with her husband and five year old daughter Hari.
